May 13:  Event planning meeting; 6:00, Roundtable; 7:00, both meetings at First Presbyterian Church, Rockingham

May 21-23:  100th Anniversary Camping Event at Camp Barnhart

May 29:  Memorial Day Service at the Veterans Park in Rockingham.  Scouts are to be there in uniform by 10:30.

June 10:  Event planning meeting; 6:00, Roundtable; 7:00, both meetings at First Presbyterian Church, Rockingham

June 18-20:  Pack Father's Day Camping Weekend.  (information available soon)

June 21-25:  Cub Scout Day Camp at East Rockingham Park

June 29:  Return to scouts meeting 6:30

July 8:  Event planning meeting; 6:00, Roundtable; 7:00, both meetings at First Presbyterian Church, Rockingham

July 17:  Cubmobile Derby; 5:00 on Main Street in Hamlet

August 13-15:  Centennial Luau Cub-O-Ree at Camp Mushani

Cub Scouting is a year-round family-oriented part of the BSA program designed for boys who are in 1st - 5th grades or 6-10 years old.  Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the 10 purposes of Cub Scouting:
1.  Character Development
2.  Spiritual Growth
3.  Good Citizenship
4.  Sportsmanship and Fitness
5.  Family Understanding
6.  Respectful Relationships
7.  Personal Achievement

Our summer birthdays are:  Joe Huff 5/17, Stewart Davis 5/27, Griffin Thurman 7/7, Braxton Sutherland 7/18, Andrew McLendon 7/23, Kathy Caswell 8/3, Grant Freeman 8/7, Travis King 8/13, and Anakin White 8/15.

Cub Scout Pack 527 is a family oriented cub scout pack located in Hamlet, NC that value teaching our scouts the true meaning of scouting.  We help guide our young scouts through the journey of cub scouting and enstill in them the importance of honor, loyalty, compassion, self esteem, good citizenship, respect, and so much more.  We welcome any new scouts ages 6-10, or 1st - 5th grades that may also be interested in taking this journey with us.  For more information, contact us through email and stop by and see how a cub scout meeting is conducted.
